About us

Sujan Nagarik Manch (SNM) is forum of conscientious citizens created under the guidance of Late Shri. Bhishmaraj Bam to actively participate in improving quality of life in general by their own efforts as well as by creating awareness in the society. The SNM is a non-political and non religious body, and does not discriminate against any one on the basis of cast, creed, race, religion or gender.Though SNM was initiated with special emphasis on cleanliness (swach bharat), It has been taking up different initiatives and activities for the benefit of all sections of the society as per the need of the hour.

Objectives

Establishing and maintaining a clean,healthy and hygienic environment.
Improving the safety of the residents,on the road,at public places and at home.
A good public health system
Education and training of the public at large and the volunteers in particular to work towards the achievement of the objectives.
Creation of a network of experts,Government agencies and citizens willing to provide voluntary help for Disaster Management.
To start with SNM emphasized the concept of "BEAUTIFICATION THROUGH COMPOSTING AT SOURCE".
Today SNM is taking up different initiatives and activities for the benefit of all sections of the society as per the need of the hour.
